In my opinion there is nothing worse than going to a function and seeing a DJ table covered in cables and the floor around the DJ looking like spaghetti junction.

There is no reason to expect that the company you source to work in a tidy, orderly and professional manner; after all that's what you are paying them for. It's part of the deal.

Duct tape and insulation tape should be used to tidy and conceal cables, extensions wherever possible.

There is also the health & safety factor to be considered as well. All equipment must be used in the manner that it is designed for. Speaker Stands must be level, the feet need to be at least 1.5 times wider than the speaker on top to ensure that it does not fall over if knudged, lights need to be positioned at least 2m high (preferably higher for effect) and again situated on the correct stands or trussing.

We have invested in Stealth Wireless Technology so that we can illiminate many meters of speaker cables for Weddings and Parties. There is no loss of quality when it come to sound and it gives us many more options for setting up a room as we are not restricted by different floor levels, distance (covers up too 60m) , etc.

Our Typical Standard Set Up.

This is what our Standard Set Up for a Wedding of 80-120 pax would look like. The package also includes a wireless Shure microphone for speeches, and a selection of LED lights to enhance that party atmosphere. Depending on the venue layout we may use Stealth Wireless Transmitters/Receivers to eliminate the use of too many cables.

This Set Up video was taken at The Moon & Sixpence in Muldersdrift where Perfect Tone Music is the preferred service provider of music & lighting.

Obviously you can add to any of our packages with additional sound, lighting and special effects such as Smoke Machines, Dry Ice Dance Floor to name a few of the options that we have available.

Lighting Effects.

Any Party needs a number of things to make it a success, from the people, the venue, music, open or cash bar,  accommodation, and Mood Lighting to name a few.

Mood Lighting can play an important role in setting the scene for a great party. Some venues provide excellent ambiance in terms of the decor and lighting. Generally this is not the case but Perfect Tone Music can enhance any venue to make it a Party Paradise.

From Up Lighting, suttle spots of colors, UV lights, displaying patterns, logo's and names via a Moving Heads, Strobe Lights, Colour LED washes, water based Smoke Machines, Dry Ice  dance floors and more.

Perfect Tone Music can provide all of the above and more.  We do of course include some of these options in our range of packages and you can add additional extra's as you wish.

Twins on Decks

Perfect Tone Music shared the stage with Ryan and Darren the infamous Twins on Decks at Casa Toscana Lodge on Saturday.

Celebrating Wesley's 21st with his family and friends they were also entertained with Belly Dancing,

and a "Live" table for Cocktails and Shooters. 

The sound was provided by Studio 386 and comprised of JBL Subs 518 and PRX Tops, Pioneer DJM600 and a pair of a Pioneer CDJ 350's for the Twins and Perfect Tone Music played through the mixer on a Denon DN-MC 6000.

Perfect Tone Music supplied top quality sound, music and wireless PA for the duration of the day. From classic tunes in the Chapel to the foot tapping Jazz and Swing tracks in the Garden and finally a Perfect Party set for the Reception. 

With some additional Portuguese Music supplied by the Bride we danced the night away like there was no tomorrow.
