Top Played Tracks For 2013.

Look out for the Perfect Tone Music list of Top Tracks Played for 2013.
It's been a great year for music both in South Africa and around the World. The Perfect Tone Music Team has played all over the country, from Joburg to Capetown, Kuthuba in the Waterberg to Randlords for Standard Bank. Weddings, Private Parties, Birthday Parties & Corporates we've done them all again. This year (2013) we won 1st place with ABIA (African Bridal Industry Academy) for Top Mobile DJ and we were runner up last year, something we are very proud of.

We would like to thank all our clients for their support in 2013 and look forward to maybe playing for you again sometime. We wish you all a Happy New Year, until we meet again..... "Thank you for the music"

The Need To Recharge

I have found with experience that being busy takes a little time and effort.

We all put different amounts of effort into our daily activities, whether its for home, work or play. At work we all strive to do well, be our best and hope that some recognition comes from from it. Recognition in our case results in increased business.

This directly relates to effort, for Perfect Tone Music the more we play, the better the Gig's are. You get into a groove and depending on the Gig you have all the Set's ready in your mind. We don't work to playlist, however we do get direction from our clients as to how they see their Wedding Music being played during the day. From a Must Playlist to a Do Not Playlist its very important for us to listen to our clients needs in our meetings. After all they are paying the bill!

If we dont engage our client properly then we will not be as successful as when we do. Every Wedding or function is different, each have their own dynamics, when its comes to the music that is required that is why we put in an equal amount of effort into each gig so that the day goes without a hitch.

Rocking up on the day and "plugging in" is not enough if you want to be successful and put in a great performance, you have to have a plan, you have to have some insight into what your audience wants to listen too. For sure you will read the crowd and at some point start to use your expereince to attract your audience onto the dance floor, but with some preparation this will happen sooner than later.

When I have a little down time I look through my music libraries to refresh myself on the music that i have collected and that can be played at different gig's or functions. Updating my folders and playlists is vital to keeping the music fresh and new otherwise you will get stuck in a rut and play the same old tracks time and time again.

The African Leadership Academy Year End Bash.

Even our Top Professionals & Teachers know how to party. The Fairway Hotel & Spa hosted The African Leadership Academy Year End Party.
Our MC for the evening was Gavin Peter (Director of Arts & Culture) after several awards were presented by Fred Swaniker (CEO) and  Chris Bradford (Dean) the dance floor opened to a wide selection of African beats from all over the continent, professionally mixed by Perfect Tone Music.
Thanks for a great party guys, see you next year!

Hi there Tony,

You Rock da party!

Thank you so much for your djing! All night long people kept asking me 'where did we find this DJ – he is awesome!" "and how did he know all about us!"

You added such fun to the evening with all your intros – I love the MGM one for me – might keep it!

Plus you played all our silly School songs so quickly and all our favorites

Thank you Perfect Tone Music so much, you really made us have a great night.
