The Script @ The Coca-Cola Dome

I managed to get to see The Script concert at The Coca Cola Dome yesterday. Wow!

From the Stage show to lighting and most importantly the sound it was one of the best concerts I have attended in a long time.

Their mix of Indie Rock and Ballads were received well by the South African audience. The guys in the Golden Circle were enjoying the attention from lead singer, Danny O,Donoghue who was all over the stage and even appeared at the back of the venue on an escalator at once stage.

Lead guitarist Mark Sheehan also adds great backing vocals and is in his own right an awesome performer. Some of his guitar riffs reminded me of The Edge of U2.

Playing tracks from all their albums such as: The Man That Can't be Moved, Breakeven, For The First Time, Superheroes, No Good In Goodbye, and Nothing where they invited an audience member to call an Ex Boyfriend on their cell phone so they could sing the song to him was a great touch!

There encore was completed with Hall Of Fame.

All their albums have tracks that will appeal to most listeners.
